ACCS home health nurses have served our high-tech clients in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area. Our companions make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families served throughout the State of Virginia.

Founded in 1986, Carolyn McCrocklin, PhD, RN, established ACCS on Christian principles. Over the last three decades she has developed a reputation for compassion, integrity, and standards unparalleled in the industry. Carolyn has a background in critical care and formerly served as President for the Virginia Board of Nursing. As an advocate for healthcare professionals, Carolyn appreciates the value each person brings to ACCS.

“American Critical Care Services exists to improve the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all we serve. We do this through the provision of superior nursing and allied health care services within the framework of responsible stewardship.”

At ACCS we believe in caring for both our clients and our employees. We encourage our nurses to take advantage of our complementary, on-site spa services as we seek to relieve caregiver stress and prevent burnout.
